A campground is an area where campers and holidaymakers can stay overnight in a tent, caravan or folding car. Often campsites are equipped with mobile homes or in some cases placed houses. The plumbing consists of central facility where toilets, showers and cleaning and washing facilities are available. Campsites can be a very different sizes, some places farmers at a campsite to thousands of places in a very luxurious camp premises.

Republic of Slovenia is situated in the Alps and bordered by Austria, Italy, the Adriatic Sea (with the Slovenian Riviera), Croatia and Hungary. The capital is Ljubljana. In 1991, Slovenia became independent after the Ten-Day War and the Agreement of Brioni. On May 1, 2004 Slovenia became a member of the European Union and later of NATO. The country has a lot of natural beauty, ranging from rivers (Soca) to the Triglav National Park with the glacier lakes of Bled and Bohinj. Sights are further: the Vrsic Pass, with towns like Tolmin and Kobarid, the caves (Postojna), the caves of Skocjan, Lipica (with the Lipizzaner horses), Hrastovlje (church with frescoes), Novo Mesto, Brezice, Kostanjevica, Savinja , Maribor, Ptuj and the region around Murska Sobota.
