A campground is an area where campers and holidaymakers can stay overnight in a tent, caravan or folding car. Often campsites are equipped with mobile homes or in some cases placed houses. The plumbing consists of central facility where toilets, showers and cleaning and washing facilities are available. Campsites can be a very different sizes, some places farmers at a campsite to thousands of places in a very luxurious camp premises.

Cyprus is an island in the Mediterranean Sea at about 70 km south of Turkey and about 100 km west of Syria. Cyprus is the third largest island in the Mediterranean Sea. Cyprus is a republic. Nicosia (Lefkosia) is the capital of Cyprus. From 1974 in the north of the island exists the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (this part is only recognized by Turkey). It is believed that the goddess Aphrodite was born on Cyprus. She is the Greek goddess of fertility, love and physical beauty. Cyprus is a popular holiday destination because of its beautiful beaches and the various attractions. Especially the Troodos Mountains is worth a visit. Other sights on Cyprus are: the Archeological museum in Pafos, Kourion ancient theater at Limassol, the Tombs of the Kings necropolis in Pafos, the mosaic from the 2nd century in Paphos and amathus (remains of the kingdom between Larnaka and Limassol). Eating on Cyprus has a lot of Greek influences, but called often different. Typical dishes are meze (a kind of tapas), afelia, tava and kleftiko. The Cypriot wine is recommended together with the Cypriot Keo beer.
