A cruise ship is a very large passenger ship, specially designed for holidays on the water. Mostly sunny destinations are on the program, but also Alaska or the South Pole are popular destinations for cruises in summer. Cruises are becoming increasingly popular. The television series The Love Boat from the 70s, recorded on the Pacific Princess cruise ship from the company Princess Cruises, made cruises and cruise ships popular to a large number of people.

The Republic of Italy is located in southern Europe and belongs to the European Union. Italy borders France, Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia and many seas such as the Tyrrhenian Sea, the Mediterranean Sea, the Ionian Sea and the Adriatic Sea. Furthermore the Leaning Tower of Pisa is a famous landmark as well as the Dome and Galeria in Milan.
