Netherlands is a country in Western Europe. In 3 hours by car from north to south and it is one and a half hour driving from The Hague on the border to Germany. Yet 16 million people live on 41,528 square kilometres. This means that there are almost 400 inhabitants per square kilometres in the Netherlands. This makes Holland one of the most densely populated countries in the world. The most famous tourist attractions (for holiday or travel) include the Keukenhof, Amsterdam (Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum), Delft, Groningen (with the Groninger Museum), the Delta in Zealand, the Frisian lakes and the coastline and beach. Furthermore National parks the Hoge Veluwe and the Biesbosch are very attractive for many people.
