Spain is a kingdom (constitutional monarchy) with the capital Madrid. the country is bordering France (by the Pyrenees),Portugal and Andorra. Spain, together with Portugal, is the Iberian Peninsula. The Balearic islands in the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean and the Spanish exclaves in North Africa also belong to Spain. In southern Spain is the British colony of Gibraltar located.
